Voice Pro Program by Redfield O’Brien Minson

The Voice Pro Program is a specialised auditory and voice-based intervention designed for children and adults to enhance listening, auditory processing, and expressive communication skills.

Skills Targeted Include:

  • Phonemic awareness
  • Auditory memory
  • Auditory figure–ground discrimination
  • Dichotic listening

The program also strengthens voice use for communication and self-expression. Voice Pro begins with simple activities that help individuals become comfortable hearing their own voice through microphone feedback, gradually building confidence and control. Activities progress systematically from easy to complex and include:

  • Repeating words and phrases
  • Filtered auditory input (high-pass and low-pass)
  • Memory-based listening tasks
  • Auditory figure–ground activities
  • Dichotic listening tasks
  • Reading aloud

Session Structure & Integration

  • A Voice Pro session may last between 5 to 30 minutes, depending on the individual’s needs and endurance
  • Voice Pro may be combined with 1–3 music tracks from the Ear–Brain (iLs) program
  • Program combinations vary across sessions and are selected to maximise focus, engagement, and skill development on a given day
