PKMC is a multimodal rehabilitation centre for children with special needs, offering therapy, special education, life-skills training, and early intervention services.

Technical Collaboration With BVerve:

BVerve works as the technical collaboration partner for PKMC’s Special Education wing, contributing specialised educational expertise and brain-based learning approaches.

Joint Programs & Roles:

Assessment & Support

  • Psycho-educational assessment of children’s learning and cognitive profiles.
  • Remedial support tailored to each child’s strengths and challenges.
  • Pre-vocational support and Early Intervention Services designed to build foundational skills before formal schooling.

Training & Certification

  • Certificate Course in Specific Learning Disability (SLD) — run jointly by PKMC and BVerve, this is a structured ~90-hour program covering:
    • Developmental delays, cognitive processes, assessment and remediation techniques.
    • Reading, spelling, handwriting, mathematics strategies.
    • Behavioural management, IEP planning & classroom modification strategies.
    • It combines 60 hrs of theory with 30 hrs of hands-on practicum at PKMC itself.

Capacity Building

  • Workshops and training aimed at caregivers, teachers, and therapists.
